The miles on the add are 54 but the picture are 59 ? Knock him down on price and sort the belts out by a garage you can trust

  Now Sold :-(
Just from the pictures I'm thinking it's a bit overpriced.

As others have said needs
wheel refurb
new steering wheel/refurb
exhaust looks pissed
???? on the belts.

Plenty of others out there just be patient and you will find a well priced minter. You may just have to run the V for a couple of weeks.....

this is so frustrating! lol

Im veiwing the titanium 182 located in reading tuesday, thats the one I'd like but still want a few others to view, so many sheds out there though! :(

Wanted a Trophy thats been slightly modded, but it was on 66k & needed the aux belt doing & the bonnet had laquer peel. I offered £5200 but the guy was adimant he wanted £5500. Im not paying that for a car that needs work. Find me a nice 182 guys! Not blue though!

If you go for the OP, don't let Billy Bob in his garage do it. Get money off the car and take it to a specialist.

Either way, there must be better examples out there...

It's ideal if you can get it cheap enough and can sort the wheels/belts/steering wheel yourself. I'd only use a trusted person for the belts, I wouldn't trust the garage, no disrespect to them.

But I wouldn't pay £2990 for that. Nowhere near it in fact!

Its got a really big wedge of car dealer markup on it, its a 2500 quid car at most IMHO, and if they do the belts I bet they wont use genuine belts and wont get the timing quite right.
Plus I bet its had some cheap and nasty paint work to make it look mint again, list most secondhand dealer stuff as thats how they add value to cars they are selling to make a profit of course.

  Maybe a 172 Cup..
If you could get for 2.4k as is, all good. Then sort belts through whichever specialist you're gonna use.

If not, leave alone IMO. Nothing special.

Also "loads of service history" is another way of saying "not full service history" which at 3K it would want to be full main dealer service history to get close to justifying that sort of price tag (and personally I still wouldnt pay it)

Why does everybody on here devalue cars. it would be worth 3k if everything was good

If it had the belts done, didn't have kerbed wheels and the steering wheel wasn't held together with electrical tape, then yes, i'd agree it was worth £3000. maybe even a touch more given its colour and nice miles.

But it needs the best part of £1000 spending on it to get it up to a level an enthusiast would want it to be at.

Once done and all up together, i'd have it up at £3695. And i'd probably get it.

Couldn't agree more. seems like everyone just thinks a 182 is worth 2k no matter what condition.
