What does it mean when my 172 beeps at me

Three beeps when i lock her up!? Cant find anything in the manual, am I going mad or is my car trying to tell me something?

If you turn ignition to position 2 twice and then lock the car, the alarm will beep at you to alert you to the fact that your ultrasonic sensors have been turned off so that the alarm only activates if the doors are open, NOT if a window is broken, its so that you can leave the windows open a little but still have the alarm on.

Doesnt seem to be any pattern to it or anything. Gotta be the alarm but dunno what. Probably says in the manual but im one of those people that reads the manual after I have blown it up

mine does it but i live with it for the amount of times it does it and i dont trust the monkeys to try and fix it they may make it worse
