What drop is this? (Mk1 1.4RT)

Heres some pics of my freshly lowered RT. What drop would you say it has at the front? I was told when I bought the springs (second hand) that they were 55mm springs but to me it looks like a 35mm drop, if that.

I'm guesing that setling won't really come into it with mine as they have been on a car?

So annoyed as it seems as though the guy I bought the springs off lied about them being 55mm springs.

I'm so bloddy annoyed about that. If it was just after I had bought them I could have a go at the guy and get my money back but it was about 6 months ago that I got them. Now I'm gonna have to raise the back as it just looks stupidly low with front as it is.

you'll be able to pick up a pair of 55 mil springs for 30 quid mate, ask in the wanted section, sell your 35 mils for 30 quid aswell

Yeah, I've just put a post in the wanted section. Hopefully be able to do a straight swap, but probably unlikely that anyone will want to do a straight swap.

Cheers mate, PM me if they become availiable. If I do raise the back it's only going to be till I get some 55mm for the front. As the guy at the petrol station said to me tonight it looks like I have about six people in the back of the car.

Stick a valver lump in it and be happy. Or how a bout a LET clio. Never seen one of them????

Don't give me ideas dave, it could be dangerous . I was also toying with the idea of putting a williams bottom end with a 16v head in it for a super sleeper. It might all be a bit much work for me though.

Like I say - all just ideas in my head. I keep thinking I might do it then start thinking I should just buy a valver as it looks better as standard etc. I would have to find out about insurance too and don't know how much of the work I could do as I would be doing it all by myself.
