What guage wiring

Hi,

Will I be needing 4 guage or 8 guage for http://thebassbin.co.uk/shop/product/products_id/758.htmlthis amp?

Im thinking Ill need 4 guage but Im not 100% sure.

if ur only running 1 amp then the 8 would prob do it

although go for the 4 to be safe if u can run the wire ok!!

Go for as big as you can afford, that way if you want to add more amps you wont have to rerun cables.

Thanks peeps. Im not going to be adding more amps but want to be on the safe side as it is over 500W.

Will 4 guage thickness go through the usual bonnet release hole ok?

yes even 2awg will fit, though it will be tight

Looks the right stuff but is dirt cheap. Is it a bargain or poor quality? I really want to make sure its the right stuff but obviously get it as cheap as possible!!

its not the best, not even close, but for £13 you cant really complain

id change the RCA cable and terminals as soon as possible though, as these are likely to be very cheap quality items

i used an autoleads 4awg kit (blue and silver - can never remember the name of the range ) that i found to be of very good quality, obviously discounted price when i bought it, but contained everything i needed including some above average rcas, battery terminals etc

ill have a quick hunt round the net see if i can find them for you

yep, thats the same range kit as i bought over 2 years ago, to be honest, i dont think you will find a better kit for the money
