What have you done to your car today ???

Got the car out of the garage for a pre-trackday check over. Pressures and levels all spot on. Loving the new ash/scenic gear shifter even more. Can't wait to get it out on track tomorrow.

yesterday I adjusted the rear exhaust mounts to center it up and went to the dealer to order a new headlamp washer to replace my leaking one.

Replaced the coils on all 4 corners. Turns out when I went for tracking I had a broken one on the rear left corner.

When they were replaced it turns out a front one was snapped as well... whoops! Must have been broken for ages as it's been handling like crap but I just put that down to "it's only a 1.2 Clio". Turns out with new coils all round, even cheap ones, it's so much better!

I went mad with the technical work today and replaced all 3 wipers.
Also had AutoGlass out to fix a chip in the windscreen but they decided it was too big to repair and scheduled me for a new windscreen next week.

New rear and middle exhaust mount fitted.
Accelerator cable changed.
Michelin pilot sport 3 tyres fitted to my new speedline 2118's
New rear shocks fitted

Just stage one of making sure it's ready for the drive to belgium for the spa GP :)

Replaced both driveshafts and gearbox oil to try and cure a thumping sound when driving straight or round right hand bends which i guessed might of been the CV joint that had been leaking for a while.... It wasnt, back to the drawing board...

Restored the headlights again..

Had an oil change and a new air filter, and had the mechanic give it a look over to see if it needed owt else doing. Apparently it's in very good nick except the front suspension and brake pads.
The joys of car ownership.

fitted new high visibility brake light as other just stopped working. ..only found this out by picking up my 182 from voters in Plymouth after having new keyfob coded as old one was causing issue's starting car.... £170 well spent

Gave the interior a clean-up, using meguiars APC wiped down plastics and cleaned carpets etc., then hoovered out. First time using megs, great product, now feels much fresher, first time interiors been done this year lol. Then I also removed tdc sensor and cleaned up tip, and removed throttle body housing and cleaned up both sides, seems to have sorted my problem of revs sticking occasionally when slowing down. Was then going to give it a quick wash but the rain stopped that idea!

Not in one day as there would be too much to do, but a week ago..

Wheels refurbished.
Replaced wheel bolts & lockers.
Cleaned / de greased & sealed inside arches.
Cleaned / de greased & sealed under the fish pond (front tray)
Cleaned / polished & sealed inside the door shuts.
Repainted & sealed brake calipers.
Replaced boot struts.
Replaced interior mirror.
Replaced a centre air vent.
Cleaned the seatbelts.

Refurbish interior door trays, I have a spare set that were painted but the job wasn't 100% so I have bought the paint etc to refurb them properly.
Replace number plates, I have a new set but they're not on as I'm getting the front end done at some point as it has some stone chips 😧

Finally got round to removing the Halfords Sports badge off of my car, would have done it sooner but got too busy with college finishing!

Had the windscreen replaced due to a chip which was too large to repair. Received my new brake discs and pads courtesy of @George@RTR_Parts .

Hopefully tomorrow the suspension kits will be arriving from Renault Parts Direct but seeing as they haven't shipped yet I'm not too optimistic.

Serviced it ready for Saturday.

Gearbox oil was like water, and there's not much chance the pollen filter has ever been changed....

I need to do this. Am I right in thinking it's under the scuttle panel on the drivers side?? Any info appreciated.
I assume you mean the pollen filter?

Yeah under the scuttle, just unclips and slides off. Then there's a tiny screw holding the pollen filter cover on. The gap is smaller than the filter so you have to bend/pinch it a bit to get the filter in/out

Got new tyres (RS2s) + wheels (15" ultraleggera et 37)fitted, but the setup works out slightly bigger than the 16"s, so on the corner where the damper has failed the arch is eating the tyre. Because of all this I haven't driven it properly yet :( damper gets replaced tomorrow though.
What little drive I did get it felt fantastic, so tomorrow I'll give it a good spin.

I replaced my side bullets, shame the other side won't go on as the clips the side bullets go on has snapped off :( Super glue should fix it though! Colour coding the strips next

Dampers done. So last time I drove it, it was on the stock wheels, michelin ps3s, tracking out and dodgy damper.

So now tracking done, wheels and tyres on and damper fixed, my god, it drives so well now. Just so planted. Inspires so much confidence.
