Replaced another cv boot, im f**king unlucky with these things, grease everywhere again!

I also fixed my horn and painted my calipers silver again, nice and fresh!

Taken it to my local garage...passenger side rear was leaking,handling is so much better now.

Although saying that still while i`m turning right only the steering moves(to the left slightly)...have to keep my wits about me.

Picked my car up from Rentech today. Replacement engine fitted, with belts and pulley changed. Brembo HC discs and Brembo pads fitted. Feels good to have the car back again after I thought about scrapping it. Just needs a good wash now!

Booked it in to the body shop for the rear bumper painting on Monday.

Had new springs, shocks, discs and pads fitted at the front. STILL not got the air con fixed though.

Next up (aside from the air con) will be getting the misfire and clutch fixed.

fitted a dab radio with steering controls/usb lead and mic/aerial and.new speakers/tweeters.(no dash off)..its all working which is a miracle ha....everyone on here was saying you have to take dash off..i thought sod that off.. found away to get them in and out in a few minutes .god what a bad design..Renault want shooting..

Thank you both for the kind words :smile:. P1 RUK would look good I agree but it already has a personalised plate on it, and although it's one a previous owner chose I am reluctant to change it as it has been on there for so many years it's sort of become a part of the car's history now.

Il let you know once there fitted. One of the boots was worn so that needed to be replaced so did them all...... Just trying to sum up the enthusiam to go and fit them :weary:

Replaced both rear exhaust mounts and put a new clamp on the stupid joint after the cat.

I've also tightened the bolts up on the passenger side door handle as it was a bit loose.

Ordered some Rainsport 3's after a serious brown trouser moment on the way to work yesterday.. I've been putting off replacing the tyres that the previous owner put on it since I bought it in December, 4 Achilles tyres in the FS section soon haha
