In other news, Halfords own tar remover is rubbish!

Fitted an AUX lead in the GTI.
Was a mission to get the stereo out!

Refitted the cat for the MOT next weekend (decat is for sale btw), new pre cat lambda and adjusted the handbrake- now holds on hills which is useful!

One corner done. Nobody said getting it out and back in was a puzzle to put the krypton factor to shame!

That`s a brave place to put the axle stand.
If you have both wheels off the ground, you won`t have to fight with the anti roll bar.

Wired in a proper subaru rear fog light switch instead of the rubbish one they fit when the car is imported.

Had to buy a new panel from Subaru as they had drilled the one one to fit this junk.

Decat replaced with temp cat, MoT - passed after changing from crap osram dipped bulbs (because of poor light pattern) to lucas, also fixed horn wiring :-s ...top MoT'er very helpful!! Will now check exhaust dB levels with cat and with decat + straight through KTec centre section see how close to trackday and sprint reg limits it is.

Just a few little bits. Fitted new thumb grips and went at the pedals with metal polish.
Just toying with the idea of paying to have this little dent removed before goodwood breakfast club... First time, first impressions and all that...

Picked it up from the garage after having a new front wheel bearing fitted. Apparently most of the old one fell out!

Tightened up my evol dog bone mount. I'd noticed that it wasn't as noticeable when driving, so I checked underneath and found that the rear bolt had worked itself loose. Tightened it up now and hoping it won't work loose again.

I fixed my passenger seat as it wouldn't let people into the back seat. I thought worse case scenario is cable had snapped but luckily it had just stretched, it wouldn't pull the cam up so I bodged it permanently. One chocolate block connecter over the end of the cable, do the screws up and now my chair works!

Hovered my finger over buying a 182 manifold and cat to replace the pikey decat I had done...

Still unsure on the 182 Mani...
Extra performance.. Maybe.
Extra cost... Definitely
Anyone done it with proven gains.?

getin ready for MOT

no lights - no problem :)

RS192 exhaust ordered. Was really stuck on which one to go with nearly went with the pure motorsport but I really didn't like the tips! Never had a scorpion exhaust so thought I would give it a go.

Not today but a week ago I did this...Clio 172/182 brakes are pretty much the same so should be just as easy to do. Thinking back I never did mine in 125k miles on my 172 Cup and I really should have given the abuse it took!

Did my prep for going on show at Goodwood next week as well!
And by that I mean grinding the crap out of my wheel on a kerb [emoji35] last minute wheel refurb incoming!
