What is an engine tie-bar?

keep seeing engine tie-bar pop up in torque settings. what would us lesser mortals know it as?

Tie bars are used on almost all cars/motorcycles they connect the top of the engine to the body/frame usually just a metal rod or through a rubber mount

Probably referring to top engine mount.

Id say the tie bar is the dogbone mount. Probably wrong tho.

My old vectra had dog bone at the top, that's why I thought dog bone
