Noticed a small oil drip under my car and after inspection it looks like this rubber square thing has split, what is it?

Car is a mk1 clio 1.4 energy lump, this square rubber thing is next to the sump, would oil drip from it and what is it?repairable?

the rubber bit is a dust cover for the gear linkage pivot joint. The oil is probably from the gearbox selector shaft seal. On a clio of your phase they always leaked a bit nothing to worry about.
