What is this noise

When i drive slowly i get a squeeking noise from the front of the car. The best way to describe the noise is like a squeeking spring, as the wheel goes over bumps. Thats what i first thought. However, when i knock it out of gear the noise goes away. Driveshaft? I can only hear it if the window is open. Its not very loud.

i dont think so. Not noticably. But its so difficult to hear i cant really tell. Only notice it when im away from traffic on a quiet country lane going slowly so the engine doesnt drown out the noise.

i used to have that noise but its stoped now. Someone said to me it could be something to do with the tyres gripping the road as they were preety new. but it sounded like susspension. Just turned the music up louder!

I think i have the same sound in my valver. It sounds like it comes from the front shock area. The only other car ive heard it in is a peugeot 405 taxi! Its like a squeek type sound (Doesnt sound nasty) when you drive slowly over speed bumps and things yeah?

Engine mount,
Remove plastic cover at the cambelt end and squirt some WD40 on it, should stop it for a bit if im right, really needs changing or greasing.
