Behind the oil cap, pretty sure the vvt cable plugged in to it?

Is it safe to just pull out?

Just making sure there's no 'special' way it's to be put back in?

Yes I'm a noob, all this effort to paint!

vvt solenoid. straight pull out and slide in. Be a bit careful of the seal as you refit it though
