What Lowering springs?

Car  03 Clio 16V 1.2L
Basically, i want to lower my Mk2 1.2 Clio 03, Cause it sits as high as a 4x4 and handles s**t around the roundabouts of Leamington! everyone keeps telling me to go 60mm Lower, but is that too low?, What springs should i get as i'm on a bit of a budget ?? and will i need my dampers doing?? Thanks

Eibach Sportlines for the Clio 1.2. I see no reason to put cheap crap on any car and these get you nice and low (50mm), have a nice progressive spring rate so its soft over bumps but stiffens up as the suspension compresses under hard cornering. I'd try them on standard dampers too to start.

Depends how low u wanna go, raceland coilovers on ebay are about £180 and u can lower it as much or as little as u like and find what u Prefer height wise, springs are set at a height so once u buy them if u dont like the height its wasted, u dont need to change dampers if there working fine all depends what ur budget is and what u want from it

I'd go for cheap coilovers if im honest, not much more than decent springs and you can lower to the height you want.
Without trying to sound like a dick, I don't think you'll be using it on a track so should be fine on the roads, maybe a little stiff though!

The height of the back is the difference, also worth noting once u lower the suspension u wil need to have the camber and alignment done
