what new tv... Samsung or sony? 3d?

i know there are a few AV guys on here, and i have been on the AVforums etc but thought i would ask here as well..

i am looking at getting a new TV, choices are either...

samsung LE40C750R2KXXU
40" 16:9, 200Hz Motion Plus, 3D Ready, Internet@TV (MoIP), 4 HDMI, Allshare (powered by DLNA), Ultra Clear Panel, USB 2.0 Movie, FreeviewHD

or UE40C6510UKXXU
40" 16:9, Slim LED, Internet@TV, 100Hz Motion Plus, 4 HDMI, Allshare (powered by DLNA), Ultra Clear Panel, USB 2.0 Movie, FreeviewHD, White Wood, X Stand

both are the same money, but one does 3d and is LCD, the other is LED but doesnt do 3d!?

which one!??

i can also get the sony KDL40HX703 for aroundthe same price..

any suggestions? or advice

To clarify, both are LCD's screens. One has an LED backlight. One can display 3D images. Though those 2 aren't mutually exclusive.

Go for the Sony if it's a choice out of those two, Samsung TV's are for peasants

It's a marketing thing. They are not true LED.
