What new tyres (195/50/15)

I'm after some new tyres...

I had narrowed it down to Toyo Proxes T1-R's or Yokohama Parada Spec 2's as both are available at good prices in this tyre size and seem quite popular.

I am aware they are both quite quick wearing and not the best in the wet, but which of the two would be the better choice?

i have found that t1-r last me just over as year on the front. they grip well in the dry, not as good in the wet. but not dangerously slippy. i dont tend to push the car to its limits in the wet. good all round tyre for the price imo. you might have to play around with the pressures a little to get them to feel right.
my brother has prada spec 2's on his ph1. great tyres. not as good as t1-r's in the wet imo. how long they last depends on how you drive really.

im trying to make this same choice. I had toyo T1-R on my old clio gtt, they were ok but not amazing. Im leaning towards the yoko parada spec 2's
