what next (ideas please)

Ok so getting bored of the valver. need to do something to it to rekindle my love! preferably a performance increasing mod rather than cosmetic, already have perfermace cat/zorst, piperx ik and lowed 30mm with apex shocks and springs. and a strut brace.

what would u guys sugest?

not wanting to spend too much, i dont wanna go too crazy like the peeps on here with turbos and tbs just something to spice it up a bit. thinking acceleration more than handling/top end. Dont do track days or 1/4 miles so no point in getting some crazy top end!

A 2.0 bottom end is a good start but its not cheap.

For £50 or so Id recomend one of these Clio cup racing chips from Ebay.

bottome end...hmmm, didnt think of that one! may have to look into that.

are those chips actualy any good then? remember this is going in a 1.8 16v, I heard they generally dont respond too well to being chipped?!?

No N/A engine responds to remapping well there very little extra there.

The chips do come highly recomneded though from somoene I know who has one but Ive not been out in the car yet be interesting to compare.

willy lumy ryan maybe the only way forward about 1k ish fitted i think. or take out the leather and go for the rally sl*g look will make it feel, and sound better, no rear seats is the way forward!!
