Ok, so I think we established in a thread I posted at the weekend that there ain't a cat in hells' chance of me getting insured on a 172...so what about a V6? (Only Joking)

I have now been looking at a 1.6 16V RSi and the quotes are getting lower, but are still a tad high. Can anyone recommend a good insurer who comes relatively cheap (Somewhere around or under the 2K mark). I'm not getting the car until August probably when I will have 7 months no claims (I know it sounds stupid, but my mates' insurer recognised it so hopefully some others will).

Much appreciated! :approve:

It's probably best to just shop around mate, ring as many as you can and see what comes of it.

One company can be cheap for one person, then expensive for someone else. Its as though they just make numbers up lol

I found Admiral were really good for me to insure the Trophy.

Another one that gets mentioned quite often is Greenlight, and they arn't that bad when it comes to mods either.

I'll try em. These comparison sites are shite though, they earn commission so prices are rocketed :p
