what Pads/Polish . . .

  Porsche Boxster987S
is the best for deep swirls?? Using the kestral DA machine with the yellow lake country pad being the hardest with chemical guys ultra polish. Not really doing what i want it to do with my mates car which is swirl city. What should i buy??

Oh , and how do you clean pads after using them?????

pads i am currently on sonus sfx1-3, i use menzerna Intensive Polish for bad swirls, seems to work a lot better than megs 80/3 twins, no doubt scottish will be along shouting "its awlll aboot thay 3M laddy" in a sec!

i leave them to soak for a couple of hours then dry in air cupboard.

haha thanks. The chemical guys pro polish worked fine on mine as the swirls on my paint werent obvious but his ST looks like its been through the car wash a few times:dead: Its took a good amount of the swirls away but the thicker/deeper ones wouldnt budge:(

for deep deep swirls i use a sonus cutting pad with menzerna power gloss which is megga abrasive!
Intensive polish is pretty decent though. I love the range.

I wouldnt touch deep swirls with out using PTG before hand. ESP on a car that may have seen a machine polish before.

Pahhh...No everyones got 400sheets to spend on a Paint Gauge!

TBH 3.02 is harly a hard compound if it's really bad. And i doubt a DA will get the defects out "Fully" Been there done that!

yellow CL pad, 3M fast cut and a drop of Ultrafina. Keep the paint temp down. Bobs your uncle.
