What petrol should I use in my 172?

makes no odds, its a 2.0 16v engine, not a highly tuned turbo car thats been mapped specifically for v power like my old impreza, the 172 runs just fine on normal unleaded. save your money.

Best way I found is to test them both out to see how your 172 takes it.

Mine actually ran best on Sainsburys Super Unleaded. It ran very lumpy on Tesco, Shell & Motul Super Unleaded (Tesco's was ridiculously bad, thought something had broke on the car).
It ran fine with normal Sainsburys Unleaded, but I was getting better mpg from the super so I used that instead.

I use v power and despite the vat increase I still think the result are worth it. It Runs smooth and pulls very well on it.
