Ive got a 700 not alot of difference between that and 500 really.
You get a remote though which is always good for back seat action oohh oohh oohh !!!!
Tomtom one all day long, best value for money, IF you are only driving in uk roads and you dont need a remote???!!!for the backseat driver, but some people do like their features lol
tomtom are a really good unit, get the 300 if you just want it for UK roads, although it doesnt have ireland on it. the 500 is slightly better as it has major roads of western europe, and you can link your mobile phone up to it via bluetooth and use it as a handsfree kit.
the 700 is top of the range, it is similar to the 500 but it is a hard drive unit not loaded on a memory card, it has full stret level mapping of europe.
road angel navigator? piece off poo, speed camera alerts are pretty good but it doesnt hve built in laser detection so u need to spend an extra 50 pound on top of the £499.99 already!! tomtom's are faultless besides the odd crashing and people thinking they're broken but jut need resetting at the bottom of he unit. and stay away from the tomtom camera alerts...piece of s**t really
