  Inferno 182 w/ Recaros ;)
tom tom one mate, sound as a pound in a hound

works well thru the windscreen, there was another thread about the tom tom if you look down this forum

  Range Rover, GTC, LP640
Ive got a 700 not alot of difference between that and 500 really.
You get a remote though which is always good for back seat action oohh oohh oohh !!!!

Buy a 300 you dont need anything more vicky !

Tomtom one all day long, best value for money, IF you are only driving in uk roads and you dont need a remote???!!!for the backseat driver, but some people do like their features lol

  Golf R/Leon FR
tomtom are a really good unit, get the 300 if you just want it for UK roads, although it doesnt have ireland on it. the 500 is slightly better as it has major roads of western europe, and you can link your mobile phone up to it via bluetooth and use it as a handsfree kit.
the 700 is top of the range, it is similar to the 500 but it is a hard drive unit not loaded on a memory card, it has full stret level mapping of europe.

road angel navigator? piece off poo, speed camera alerts are pretty good but it doesnt hve built in laser detection so u need to spend an extra 50 pound on top of the £499.99 already!! tomtom's are faultless besides the odd crashing and people thinking they're broken but jut need resetting at the bottom of he unit. and stay away from the tomtom camera alerts...piece of s**t really :D

  Clio 182 Trophy
Laser is a nice feature, but is fairly useless unless it's a jammer (which the RA2 isn't). Once it goes off your as good as already done.

After using both a Garmin i3, a Navman iCN530 and having tomtom mobile on my phone I can safety say that tomtom is the best of the lot by a mile.

the Garmin i3 is a good unit but it depends what you want from a sat nav

it gets you from A to B with a clear, easy to read screen, but it doesnt have any other features......

ive been using a Blue Media Destinator BM 6300 for the past few days and i cant fault it, £299 with speed camera alerts, large touch screen too

  MK2 Audi TT - 2.0T dsg.
I have a PDA with tomtom5 on it. I have a bluetooth GPS which I put on the back shelf. all cool, really good software.

Im using the tom tom 700 and road angel mk 2 when i can be bothered to keep removing and reffiting every day.

I was considering the navigator but the total package just isnt as good as what ive got, everything plus more than the navigator.

I paid £600 all in for both

another good unit is the garmin nuvi 300 is very small and lightweight, and has just as good mapping as the tomtom
