clio 182
will try keep this short...
i want to do track days and hopefuly get into hillclimbs in the future, so my plan was sell the clio and buy a track prepared 106/saxo/205.
in the past few weeks though i have been having some awful thoghts about turning the 182 into a track car!!
my 182 has cruise control, full leathers, automatic wipers and lights etc etc but the bodywork aint too great. deep scratch in the drivers door and damage on the same door right at the bottom thats pretty bad(was on a four poster ramp with the door open, mechanic lowered ramp, door met tool box....) and the front bumper and bonnet are slightly damaged due to the local minister not being able to reverse!!
so.....if i were to sell i would need to fix all of the above(have cash waiting as in both cases the offenders gave me the cash after i got a quote to repair from the bodyshop) which is a pain in the ass, then source and buy a new car, or keep the clio, rip all the fancy bits off and use the cash i have for fixing the bodywork on some nice track based modifications??
so wat would you do? keep it or sell it? and would the interior, cruise control etc be things people with less spec'd clios be willing to buy?
i love working on cars and building cars so the effort in changing the clio to track car isnt a problem. also the clio already has coilovers, full yozza sport including decat panel filter and a remap
cheers
