what size wheels can i fitclio 1.8 16v

i have a clio phase2 and i just want to know if i can fit 17s on them without any arch work or rubbing of the tyres?

got em on mine slightly catches on my sideskirts so i had to trim a bit off and rubs a bit in the back when ive got people in so i had to take a bit off the sh*t collectors but its all worth it!!

it all depends on your offset of the wheel and the size of wheel. i have 7 inch wide wheels with 205/40/17 tyres and my car is also lowered 30 mm all round. no rub on back even with 3 in back but mine rubs only slightly on full lock on drvers side. other side no probs. if you get 7.5 inch wide wheels you may have more problems. 17 are the norm for 16v everyone gets them coz there is no trouble at all

Im running 7.5x18 on a 35mm drop, suspension on the hardest setting. sh*tguards taken out but no problems at the back, front needs a lot of chopping into the wings to get the wheels to turn.

17s will go pretty much straight on, probably just takes the sh*tguards out and thatll do it on a 205/40/17 tyre, 38mm offset

dont worry mine is fine with 5 in the car, different for everyone but mine bolted straight on with no removal of anything with only minor rubbing on full lock

i have no probs at all
