what size wheels on my 1.4rt

hi this is my first post and i got my mk1 clio today.what size wheels can i fit on without doing anything to the arches.

15s are your best bet if you want the least hassle. Ive got 195/45 tyres on and they dont rub at all, even after lowering.

Yeah I have 15s and so long as you get 195/45 tyres, you can slam it and it shouldnt rub.

My 15s, 195/50/15 tyres rub on the back.. and rub on full lock on the inside slightly. Lowered 35mm all round.

ive got the phase one 16V wheels on mine which are 195/50/15s. I havent lowered it but when i was changing the brakes i noticed that they had been rubbing a bit. Ive never noticed it when driving, i think its from when i have people in the car

I have Phase2 16v alloys...

it rubs on bad bumps (but so do the bumpers) and if someones in the back, it pretty much grinds all the time.

15s look the smartest with 195-45 tyres, but to finish it off you need to lower it, but not too much!!

looks like everyones got 15s! i only had slight rubbin on the bak but got rid of one of the sheilds and no probs!

ive got 17s, 55mm drop on the front and 90mm on the back and it dont rub anywhere except the bumper mount on big bumps
