what the Where’s my power gone

Last night I pulled in to get some petrol, and for some reason I did that little diagnostic thing with the stalk button and all the power I had before with the chip is just gone...car feels like a snail.

anyone know if the cars ecu can just reset the SMT6 like that...Gonna have to get back to the tuners to check this out, but damn annoying

No, but youve probably confued your ECU because of all the messed up signals.

You think disconnecting the battery to reset the ECU will help?

stalk button? that just resets the instrument panel trip computer or can put it into self test mode. shouldnt affect the injection ecu at all.

DUnno, maybe the self diag did something or got confused, since the SMT6 he has interuppts the actual sensor signals and changes them to different values to affect the ECUs output values.
