What to do with my damaged 16valver????

A few weeks ago my clio 16v on L plate 1994 in blue was hit in the back corner and is now a cat c write off.

I'm after everyones opinion on if i would better of selling the car whole or beaking it for parts(most likely on ebay)

I would think it could be repaired but i can't be bothered and would rather just get another one.

I think you would very probably get more in parts than whole now

Tatty ones are going for under £1000 on ebay and damaged would be less I imagine - in a way it's a shame it's not a williams as the engines and wheels on those go for quite a bit as they are upgrades that people fit to valvers.

It might be worth speaking to matbrown on here or maybe infinicar, as they break them for a living and might be the quickest and easiest option, though that would most probably be reflected in a reduced offer compared to what you might get otherwise.

Try and get some pictures up if you can and you might get more suggestions as to actual value

A breaker will offer you probs £200 tops for a damaged valver

Breaking it yourself you should get approx £1000 IMO for a standard ish car, more if it has uprated parts

Come to think of it i don't really have any time to deal with this so i shall be selling the car. I'll be placing it on eBay soon unless anyone would like to make me an offer, i can send pictures of the car if anyone would.
