What to do with this pipe?

Just had a listen under the bonnet and can hear a hissing.
I found the vacuum pipe that goes to the inlet (connects just after the throttle body on the front of the inlet) isn't connected to anything (had the acoustic valve removed) so it's just sucking air. Being after the throttle body I would have thought it shouldn't just be taking in air from there.
I've also had an issue with it holding back on part throttle for a while.

Do you blank the pipe off?

Sounds like the vacuum line to the acoustic valve. Just block it off.

I have a silicone hose from mine and then at the end of the hose which goes under the air box and down to the acoustic valve with a bolt & some super glue in the end of it.
