what to do??

Hey there i have a 1.4rt and i wanted to turbo the engine its an energy 7 i think.I thought the r5 gtt manifold would fit but since then i found out otherwise. I want more power so what do i do? Please if anyone could point me in the rite direction i would be so greatful.

Headwork, cam and laguna 1.8 SPI Throttle body would give a GOOD gain.

You could also slap a 1.6 8v bottom end from a megane on...its a direct fit, should add more torque.

With all that you'd probably see 100bhp or therabouts. For more you'll need a different engine...1.8 16v, 2ltr 16v, 1.7t, 1.4t...don't think anything else is really worthwhile, unless you've a strong attachment to the rest of the car.

I think there is a 1.7 Turbo engine on ebay atm, iirc they should fit in and run which is a nice gain i know people fit them in R5GTT's and they fly

Depends how rich you are!!! If youve got money for the conversion (baring in mind youll need to upgrade brakes, suspension as well) then got the money for the insurance afterwards go for it.

Id just tune your 1.4 up and like u33db said you could hit 100 bhp.
