What torque on the hub nuts?

How tight do I need to torque up the nuts that hold the shaft into the hub?

Oh its a Mk1 16v btw.

around 180nM springs to mind, i wouldnt fuss too much, just do them as tight as you possibly can with a reasonable sized 1/2" wrench IMO.

not a good idea, that's the best way to knacker a bearing
