What type of headlight bulb do i need? (mk3)

Basically i want to replace the Dipped beam on my car as the bulbs in at the moment are rubbish. all i need to know is what type of bulb is used on my car for the dipped beam?
Also i was thinking of getting the Osram Nightbreaker bulbs. are there any better on the market without having to go to HID?

H1 I thinkkkkk Dont quote me on the I bought a H4 HID kit and it was the wrong one so im 100% of the time wrong so far.
