What tyres size?

  Suzuki Ignis Sport
My wheels are the standard dynamique 15" ones... and have 185/55/R15's at the mo...

What tyre size apart from the above can i get?

I have 185/55 on, I think a lot of people go for 195/50 but you will get a little bit of rub on the rear arches apparently.

Someone mentioned that 195/45 don't rub but I'm not sure what the ride will be like on such low profile.

The wider 195/50 and 195/45 tyres are also cheaper than the standard 185/55 too! :)

I still haven't gotten round to trying different sizes but i plan to.

195/50/15 is the best way to go, £35 to £50 fitted a corner depending on what you go for, 4 tyres for under £200 is pretty good, if you get some goodyear F1's or soemthing like that. cant go wrong, iv got few sets of F1's, paradas and now toyos in that size.

havnt known 195/50's to rub on the rear arches, who comes up with all the arch rubbing stories!?

Im thinking marshalls, they're budget tyres tho, but top budget ones apparently. I have some marshalls on my car now, and are pretty good imo.

i dont agree with that at all, i had the car lowered on coilovers on 195/50/15's F1's and did 14 laps of the 'ring in my 1.4 16v never noticed any rubbing at the rear at all, the front rubs and iv got no arch liners left but that happens on all clios at the front no matter what width. and the fact that the car is not lowered or only lower on springs means its unlikly to rub at all.

195/50/ is a lot cheaper, 1cm cant affect the rear arches ... in fact i had 205/45/16 on the same set up and still no rubbing at the rear.

195/50/15 will on stock wheels catch

If you drive hard/track days etc at the back

Its not to much though just a skimming of the rear arches ideal check the rear screws thing which hold the liners in aren't damaging the tyres.

I've had 195/50 on for about 80k.
