What wireless Cable router??

In need of some advice.

I need to find a reliable wireless router for use with a cable modem,
It's for a friend, who has already had a Belkin one which has been nothing but trouble. It has since stopped working full stop.
I've read about problems with the belkin routers & cable so looking for something different.

The 2 i'm thinking about are:

Any one had good or bad experiences with either of these??

i am on virgin (ntl) and have the wrt54gs..

I use a D-Link one with Virgin, had a similar model on ADSL beforehand too, both rock steady.

I use a Netgear WPN824 v2 cable router and have never had any problems with it.

Netgear DG843GT for me. Been absolutely faultless for the 18 months I've had it.
