........if i drove mi car 20ish miles considering i fuked the gearbox up 3 weeks back and it pissed all the gearbox oil out. i.e it has no oil in the box lol. Seems to select all gears ok though and was driving as normal before i got home and realised what had happened!

there is a possibilty the bearings could seize up due to no lubrication. they will either seize up and lock the box or just collaspe and you would lose drive. could you put some oil in the box in the hope it wont all leak out before you get where your going.

problem is it was really pissing out. it took 10mins to empty the whole box.

when u fit me the box u ok to come to my place mate?

if you towed the car slowly so the box bearings werent under much load you would probably get away with it. all my tackles at home so its a bit difficult to cart it all around.

right ur about 13 miles away mate. do u reckon i could make it? if it goes wrong is it likely to fek mi engine up at all? hehe

iv moved about out drive today to release the brakes when i was letting the engine run for a bit and it seemed ok. like u said i could always fill the box up just to get me to yours. would be a nice trail of oil all the way though lol.

drive it steady and see if you can put some oil in it before you set off.

Top it up as you go along.

THe large funner jobbie with flexi hose from halfords is the perfect fit and only takes 2 mins to fill the box.

YOu can drive it, just check the level as you go.
