Firstly can some explain what this is on the suspension? Picture if poss as i am very special when it comes to these things!

Do you get bumstops on the rear suspension

Basically i have my car lowered on springs, a 35mm drop (supposedly)

Front is fine, the rear still looks the same height and its was standard

bumpstop is usaully a foam or rubber peice that fits on the suspension to stop metal on metal contact if the suspension bottoms out (uses all of its travel).

sometime when lowering a massive amount people remove them, but a 35mm drop shouldnt warrant it.

check the springs on the back, if they are new lowering springs just put on they should be fairly shiney and new still, and more than likely be a different colour to standard.

as above, but on the Bilstein monotube dampers the bumpstops are inside the damper rather than external

Thanks guys

I lowered it myself it was a bit of a cheap arse kit (PI Springs) Front -35mm Rear -30mm. Front looks fine its the rear that im not happy with. Other people i have seen on here have got a 40mm Apex spring kit and there rear end looks alot lower than mine. More than 10mm lower anyway i just wandered if there was something i was doing wrong.

Car looks fine with weight in the back but obviously dont want this so what you suggest i do - just get an apex kit? I dont have the funds for coilys
