What's best for a wet track day: Toyo R888 or Conti's?

  Audi S3 & 172 Cup
I've got a trackday coming up on Saturday and the weather forecast looks crap.

I bought myself a brand new set of Toyo R888's but now wondering whether my road tyres (Continental with 75% tread) would be better.

Opinions/advice appreciated........

think most people would be happier with the road tyres. could take both sets, start on the 888s and swap if it's too exciting

R888's will deal with it but will struggle to get up to full temp but if they are new they should have plenty of thread depth. Just run them at a slightly higher PSI then you would in the dry and they will cope. Still be better then a normal set of road tyres.
