Whats better ? Uk 172's or Imports ?

  VaVa
Same car, same mileage, same condition UK car is worth more. Whether people realise this or not is another matter entirely.

I'm interested to know why it's worth more ? I mean my 182 has Renault locking wheel nuts same as UK cars , but mine as a better alarm than Renault fit . It has a lifetime warranty whereas the Renault alarms only have an 18 month warranty , and they do go wrong from some posts i've read

So thats the only difference in mine and a so called " UK " car . Personally if i was buying one second hand " Same car, same mileage, same condition " i'd buy mine ;)

It's reality. I don't make the rules. Ask a dealer. When I askd him why he'd asked me if my car was an import, he said because imports are worth less.

The main factor being you'll know that an import was bought for less in the first place, meaning the owner is a cheapskate ;)

But wouldn't you do the same and buy an import instead of a uk car ?

Especially if its same spec car for less cash ;)

I reality . I wouldn't ask a dealer what my cars worth as i'd never trade a car in . I'd sell private , problem solved . Buy a cheaper import , sell for UK car money . And yes i am a cheapskate ;)
