Whats going on with insurance companies?

How hard is it to get insured on a modified Cup!!!!
Im 25 with 8yrs NCD, mods are, air filter, exhaust and seats.
A-Plan wont insure me because of the seats
Greenlight dont insure Cups anymore
Allen & Allen want £1600
and Adrian Flux want £864

If i put the damn thing in as standard on direct line it comes out around £550

Rant over now haha

Oh is there anyone else worth ringing?

Do you even need to declare a panel filter :S i wouldnt bother its just a replacement part inside a standard component

Kinda like telling your insurance you have the wrong oil in your engine no?

its not a panel filter though its a viper, if it was i wouldnt tell them like you say, but if the front end gets stuffed (touch wood it doesnt) then a viper will stick out like a sore thumb

adrian flux qouted 450 for my 172 with all mods declared and only 3yrs ncd but im older than you!

Flux want 865quid for me this year on the 172 with all mods declared(wheels, suspension, brakes, air filter, tints, exhaust, engine management) and im only 23, have got 5 yrs NCB and garaged.
