Whats it worth?

Hi guys, been looking at buying a Sport for a while, been keeping my eye out for a bargain, i was looking at a couple of late 172's that were within budget but then i came across this on ebay...

I know it needs an engine, but i'd be willing to undertake the work myself to avoid any labour costs.

So basically, what is it worth? From what i've looked at engines seem to go from anywhere between £700 and £1000, so i would have to factor that in. I'm going to keep an eye on it and possibly end uo saving myself a few pennies!

around £2200 i would of said as the milage is fairly high , but does look like a tidy car , engine are about £400 touch for a bare block , then £150-£200 to fit , plus you would want to give a good service £200 , new cam belt kit £180 ish and throw a new clutch in as well at about £95 for a genuine valeo clutch , so you will be looking at spending a £1000 on the engine and bits
