from what oilman, fred, andy gdi etc say easter based pure synthetic oils such as silkoline and motul are the best as under high temps they dont turn into tar lol

I use Motul 5-40 (fully synthetic, double ester polymers) in my 172, its expensive but you just know its worth it. Liquid gold in everyway!
