tried to fit my new 1 the other day and it became a right bullsache job tryin to get the cable to go on the peddle, the cable dont seem to be long enuf but its definatly right coz i put it up against the old one and they are identicle!!!!

any 1 got any suggestions?

i hope your right....spent for hours on it saturday and most of the day yesterday tryin and couldnt get anywhere near!!!!!

i miss my car lol

put the cable on clutch end. make sure u follow the correct route round the engine bay and that the grommit has pulled into the bulk head correctly.
MAKE SURE ITS A RENAULT PART AND THEYVE GAVE U THE RIGHT THING FOR ONCE

then using your thumb push the spinny round bit at the top of the pedal up and over towards the back as far as it will go. then feed the cable down round through the little hoopy bit at the top and pop end into holder. then let go and pedal should ping up forwards. then push the pedal a few times to click the ratchet up. its very easy when u know how!
