Audi TT 225
My 172's steering is feeling wobbly for want of a better word, it seems to have more free play than it used to. I can wobble the wheel back and forth quite a bit while driving with little impact on direction.
If I look out of the window while at a standstill I can move the steering wheel back and forth a bit before the wheel moves.
Steering used to be really heavy and tight until I topped up my power steering fluid before the MOT then it got a lot lighter but it feels like its getting worse now and I feel a lot of pull on the steering wheel when driving over bad roads. Its very hard to describe how it feels but its really starting to worry me, not feeling comfortable at pace, seems to turn in then lurch a bit.
Anything I can check? Could bushes be a possible cause? It flew through the MOT before christmas and I know they check the play in the steering but it does seem to have gotten worse since then.
Also lowered on apex, tire pressures are spot on.
