What's the difference? Tyre Question

Hi

What's the difference between:
195/45 R16 84V XL BSW and 195/45 R16 80V BSW ? I.E. the 84V XL and 80V . I know the V reefer's to the speed rating. These are two sizes for Eagle F1's from mytyres.co.uk, both priced the same but obvious something must be different.

It is to do with the load rating.

The 84 will be able to support more weight in the car. I am unsure why this is though but I think it may be something to do with sidewall strength. If that is the case obviously the stronger the sidewall the harder the ride but the better the handling.

Stronger it is then! Though can't imagine much difference but if there is a choice then that is what I'll go for!
