182 has a twin exhaust and different alloys . 182 with cup packs same wheels as the normal 182 but anthracite instead of silver , also a different rear spoiler and gains a front cup spoiler .

Different colours also .

Trophy only comes in red .

182 has 10more BHP than the 172, hence 182, also twin pipe exhausts. Other than that, the differences are very minimal.

Trophy has the same as above, but nicer alloys, no xenons, ghey stickers and its 4ft higher with better suspension.

You can spec the 182 with the "cup" packs, this adds spoilers and lowers it a tad. Available in a selection of colours.

You can get a 182 Cup which already has the cup packs, but has no leather and no xenons, only available in Inferno and Racing Blue

I think most of thats right! lol

Cup + Trophy are also stripped of most nice things.. they have a different headlining, cloth seats (apart from the trophy which has sexy recaros!) no climate

I never knew the cup was only available in 2 colours, learn something new everyday!

trying to explain what the difference is between is 182 cup, and a 182 with cup packs is also fun, especially with the insurance companies! Revels has already explained the two though

Ill try and give a breif summary of the differences!

Renaultsport Clio 172- has 172bhp loads of kit like leather, climate control and xenons etc

Renaultsport Clio 172 cup- came in two colours (mostly blue) and was a stripped out version of this (weighing 70kg less), so no creature comforts, slightly better performance and it has better suspension and different alloy wheels.

Then Renault replaced these with the 182 varaitons

Renaultsport Clio 182 - twin exhaust and all the kit like the 172 but with 10bhp more

Renaultsport Clio182 with cup packs - the same as the 182 but with better suspension, a couple of spoilers and different colour wheels

Renaultsport Clio182 cup - the same as the 182 with cup packs but a few creature comforts removed to reduce weight by 20kg

Renaultsport Clio182 Trophy- based on the 182 cup but only came in Red, this had better suspension and more expensive dampers, a larger rear spoiler and recaros instead of cloth seats.

So if you want a Renaultsport Clio and you want all the creature comforts then for the normal ones where as if you want a more raw car with better handling then go for the cups or the Trophy.

Overall though there is very little between any of them in terms of performance and handling

The 182Cup still has AC, cruise etc. which is very good for a car in it's class/price point. It does lose out on a few toys that the full fat has, but the plus side is that there arent as many bits to break/fall off. FF is the better all rounder.

Thats a good point the 182 cup is better specced than a CTR and Fiesta ST

  Inferno 182 w/ Recaros ;)
