hmm un driveable 350bhp car?? mapping a turbo car is a art! and turbo cars chav? have u seen how many chavs own N/A cars? with v-tec yo.? i think you will find all the FASTEST cars are turbos. id rather have alittle lag with a turbo then never ending lag with N/A lol.
there is nothing wrong with N/A. it justs cost alot of money to not go that fast.but yes a high reving car sounds nice.
350bhp turbo in FWD is not going to drive as nice as my ITB'd Clio. I'll peel all my skin off and roll around in salt if it's anywhere near as usable lol.
horses for courses, I like high revving N/A power and in a car as light as a Clio ITB's are enough to see of most things and more importantly, have loads of fun in
Anyway, going back on topic, Foxon's car will also be up there with the quickest NA's, as will Lucky's... thinking about it GDI have done a s**t load more ITB'd engines that the owners of dont even come on here. I know of one ITB'd engine producing whopping power that would spank any and every car mentioned so far... but in the world of Clio Sport Martin's old time is the one to beat... only problem there is getting it down to equal weight to level the playing field... not happening, so only answer is more power lol
i would like to think i would stand a good chance once im finished.
I cannot believe this has turned into an arguement. Only on CS eh.
well the monkey will be the N/A builder spending thousands of pound never to see 300bhp or close?. where u can get it easy with a turbo.

what about the GDI one? it was at the french car show, they said they were running about 230bhp through a single throttle body still??
You seem to have a lot of vids.
turbo's are great for chavs that like to "wind up da boost y0!",

JRs Vee :clown: shame hes too old to go fast in it. Also what do they weigh? About 1400kg.
300/1.4 = 214bhp/ton not exactly a stripped out lightweight is it.
mines down to about 850kgs now + the cage (30kgs) so 880kgs
hoping for 250 n/a
so power to weight would be.....

Find out the code for them, it will give you an excuse to check on progress .
Depending on cams I would say more like 240bhp. Is he doing the power run at Mass? Thats worth another 20bhp at least.
LOL ive got 3 indpendants lined up!
il pm you the spec..why oh why dont you have msn!...

I think its an age thing. Ask JR, it amazes me how he manages to post anything on that computer he uses
why what spec do you have for 230 hp?

check the part numbers, as Ben fooled me into thinking the cams were his 'own design and profile' and were just off the shelf jobs from CAT.

have you had it RR'd before it went off to Ben so you have something to measure against, as you wont be able to tell if they are reading high or low or spot on... I recommend RE Performance in Bury, not the best setup I've seen, but the results seem in line with what you would realistically expect and are consistent.

Mark, you're no spring chicken yourself I hear, and whats this about you taking a handbag/satchel everywhere you go? someone told me you were straight? :quiet:
