What's the going rate for fitting a cage?

I've had my Brothers mate around tonight to look at fitting my 6 point bolt in cage.

To fit 3mm plates to the front and rear feet, box section for the main hoop with captive nuts, build 2 door crosses with gussets he reckons £250.

Now I'm not sure if that's with or without materials at this stage but he's looking to use off cuts etc so other than the CDS tube, I can't see it going up massively.

What have you paid?

I did mine myself, well, half of it before the wind and rain forced me to give up... the rear section took about 4 hours with drilling, welding, adjustments etc. Still got to do the front section which will probably be another few hours as it will be a right pain! Which cage have you got Ben?

I'd have a go Rhys but I'd need to buy a welder and a lot of the kit and time really is my most valuable commodity!

I've got this cage mate: http://www.ybracing.co.uk/page1.php?sitepage=4&area4=&subarea=248&part=20961
