whats the symptoms for pas pressure switch failing?

my cars steering feels a little 'floaty' sometimes and heavy others, ive checked everything i can think of and all that im left with is maybe its a problem with the pas?

pressure switch is there to tell the ECU when the PAS is applying extra load to the engine and help with anti stall at low revs.

Possible you have a belt tension issue (seized tensioner?) or maybe just low fluid level

checked fluid, was slightly low but topped up and made little difference. the grey plug/switch off one of the pipes for pas (inbetween engine and rad, just below alternator) has leaked a little fluid from it, could this be it?

read my above post, it wont effect steering feel, it's there to help pick up the revs
