It comes from the battery down to the acoustic valve area, but isn't attachted to anything?

Please enlighten me :S

Does it go into the battery? Some batterys have vent pipes.

Basically yeah. just needs to be clipped out the way. Should have been clipped to the wheel arch lining before?

might have been, but fell off when i pulled the liner off. I'll be changing the battery soon, so will just get rid.
