ive offered him my brothers 1.2 corsa sxi which is worth £2800 ish for a straight swap..

its Cat C so i figured about 3k was a fair deal

Laura - It seems a reasonable offer, but it all depends on whether the seller would want a Corsa SXi in part exchange, but no harm in trying.

i'd say bteween 3-3.5k would be reaonable. depends how bad the flood damage was and if there were any residual problems when test driving.

btw, corsas are ok, it just so happens that a lot of their owners end up wrecking them with cheap tat from halfords

I'd say a swap for a Corsa is a better deal for you rather than him.

I'd of thought that the car would still be worth quite a bit more even though it got flooded out.

cat C is still a cat C regardless of how its happened, still shows up on the log book and needs a VIC test
