What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

Left YouTube running whilst cooking tea and the latest AA video came on. Couldn’t help but notice how uncomfortable, awkward and meek Rory looked when in front of the camera.

Around 28mins into it.

Might not to be to everyone’s taste but this is shot brilliantly. Not seen much Ratdog stuff. Only heard of them recently with the DCT M6

That latest video with Taylor is actually alright. They've cut the bullshit and shouting and it was just him talking about and working on a car he really likes. Obviously it's not going to be shouty enough for the algorithm though.

anyone listen/watch the Chris Harris and friends (middleclass) podcast.

Do you think the 456 breaking down was an act of karma for Manish repeatedly calling it Lola.

I watched it to see that and you were right.
I watched this one to see how he' d written it off as I don't remember that. It was a click bait BS title as because it needed a full respray that effectively meant that it was a write off. Okaayyy then!!!

This guy is fantastic. Hyper geek content, but great to actually learn about handling, not just “internet forum knowledge” or the info passed on by some specialists…

Hit and miss as in sometimes he actually misses the barriers? :ROFLMAO:

Absolutely no way I would let him drive my car.
I'd rather jump out a moving train than let him drive anything I owned

Still mad folk are happy to let him drive a car straight out the car park and cane it round the Nordschleife with zero knowledge of the car and how it actually drives. Especially with his track record of stuff that he's publicly shared crashing, never mind all the stuff that hasn't been shared publicly 💀

I would be doing some proper head scratching trying to workout where that ball bearing had come from. That was rattling its tits off when they started it 😂

They have proper fucked that. In the first episode the engine was making noises like mine was when I bought it and I refused to even start it once it was parked because I was s**t scared that would happen!

Ironically all the damage was done at top dead center. Shame really as I was looking forward to seeing what they did with it.

Tag him then bud, gu on …. @WillChandler94

I've discovered Vice Grip Garage after watching all the roadworthy rescues episodes.

Didn't realise how many vids he's posted and half of them are 2 hours plus!

Gonna take me a while!

The amount of massive road trips he goes on in scrap cars is mental, I don't know how the man maintains a family never being there.

The guys a legend. He had loads of stuff on youtube then got picked up by HotRod mag for a few seasons I think,

Fuel make it happeners etc.

I enjoy the TDC vids a lot, never seen Autoalex or any of those associated channels.
What I don't understand is why they have split their output into two channels. I can't really see the difference, perhaps someone more media savvy can explain it to me?

TDC? The Two Dead Center channel is dedicated to their personal cars and projects if I recall.

I agree though, I've been enjoying their stuff more and more lately. Their podcast is worth a listen too.

The Youtube algorithm favours having two channels, one with all the attention grabby ‘big’ videos, and the other with longer form, more engaged and existing-fan-oriented content that otherwise wouldn’t do well on the main channel and bring its metrics down.

In short the main channel gets whored around the internet and brings in as many new viewers as possible, the second channel is the content that only existing channel fans are going to want to sit through (and enjoy). Youtube sees the main channel only posting bangers so promotes it more than one that posts a mix of bangers and more longform content.

f**king hell bloody YouTube expert as well now!

This is an interesting build and a decent engine choice.

Just hope they get it properly stanced like a 90’s touring car.

Batshit mental drag race, that McMurtry looks like one of those toy cars you pull back to wind up, then there's the Rimac from a rolling 50-200, holy sh*t!

What is all that gas coming out of it before launches? Do love that little thing, the race around Goodwood was just incredible.
