Yep it doesn’t seem a very clever move to buy something like that without any due diligence. It’s not like it’s a £100 banger.

Yeah, i think Niko was in the wrong as he paid the owner directly and had no contract with the dealer as it was sale or return. Should have paid the money through the dealer to the owner to have any rights.

In my mind the dealer knew the car wasn't great and as advertised, that is why he made them pay directly. Also it looks like the reports on the car were not honest.

Seems like Niko is a young lad, bit of cash and got caught in the moment of an SVJ.

Unless you are uber wealthy and don’t care? In which case, don’t moan that you’ve got to retrospectively chuck £50k on a gearbox after you’ve kicked the cars head in around a track?

Not sure where Mat is going to go after his recent videos. He’s done a few very new cars where they’ve needed to got to the dealer for ecu fixes or resets before he can run them.
