The backing songs they do for the trip videos are great.

The joke songs are usually pretty s**t, but I thought Marty’s rapping in the latest one wasn’t bad tbf. Chorus was shite though.

I am looking forward to the sex spec stuff getting in the bin but they’ve always bought tragic cars alongside the more interesting stuff.

I'm the opposite, I quite like the sex spec stuff, not because I'm a big fan of the style, but because the cars have some interesting stories and it's a good change from the usual fill with some Castrol, put in a Haltech and a Whiteline ARB on infomercial formula of theirs. I do also appreciate that those early 2000s modified cars are unique and have some personality, even if that personality is obnoxious and stupid.

I genuinely loved the Max Power Era (and equivalent sxy), it was all about the “over the topness” with the builds. Perhaps it didn’t really age well but I’m glad I lived through it.

Yeah I love the Max Power stuff. It was over-the-top and stupid, but there was loads of creativity and I'd rather than than the current trend of "builds" which basically involved a remap, Eibach springs and firing a Maxton catalogue at the car. It's really cool seeing that there are people restoring cars from that era, or even building new ones.

I want to get down to one of the revival shows to relive my youth. I used to love going to the Donny Show at the racecourse back in the day.

MA's new purchase is a bit mad! New era for him, well done to the lad.
I've not watched him for ages. Fair play to him though.

He goes like,
My dream bungalow.
I've moved.
My dream house with a menagerie (that's what he calls it)
I've moved.

I know he rents out houses as he's said, he must be renting those out too.

He’s not moved to America though. Just bought a home over there.

Heard this a few times, but why is this? YouTube is worldwide so never understood why doing something in one country brings more viewers than doing it in another...

I believe creators earn more revenue from US views than UK ones, though I don't think the difference is as big as it used to be.

More than that though, it's just a bigger market. There are more companies to do brand deals with, and the whole automotive and YouTube business is on a larger scale. If most of his audience is in the US, he can work with US companies, sell merch/products directly without international shipping etc. etc.
